A Typical Play Session is as follows:

9.10am Greeted by staff
Registration takes place

9.30am Free Play

10.15am Tidy up time-children are encouraged and rewarded to tidy away the resources they have played with.

10.30am Children are separated into groups by preparing for snack, discussion and story time.

10.45am Snack time-children are selected to be monitors, so snack time is a problem solving and socialising event.

11.15am Outdoor play (weather permitting)

11.40am Change over- children leaving and entering the setting

12noon Registration

12.15pm Children are grouped, i.e washing the dishes ,video

12.30pm Lunch time: a packed lunch to be brought in (no crisps, fizzy drinks, chocolate and sweets). Children who have finished will be allowed to use resources i.e. computer, paint, sand until all the children have finished.

1.15pm Tidy up

1.30pm Change over/Registration

1.45pm Free Play

2.30pm Tidy up/prepare for snack

2.45pm Story time/discussion

3pm Snack time

We have supportive out reach workers who support our setting i.e. Drama workers, Dance , Physical teacher who enhances children's skills. Each worker changes termly.

We have four available sessions

9.10am - 11.40am
9.10am - 1.30pm
9.10am - 4pm
1.30pm - 4pm

Our setting receives Nursery Education Grants. Children aged 3 years old are eligible to claim free childcare which is 5 session at 2 1/2 hours per session. You will be requested to complete a Nursery Education form which is distributed by the Nursery every September, December and March

Family Tax Credit we will help you fill in forms to request 70% free childcare payment

Payments: - cash or cheque will be accepted.

Our rate is £2.00 per hour and is reviewed yearly
